Thanks to a state government grant, we are providing a new service to the people of the Huon Valley. This service will be provided by nurse practitioners, paramedic practitioners and registered nurses. Our experienced team can assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses that need to be seen that day, without you needing to attend the emergency department (ED) outside of regular practice hours. This includes non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses such as sprains, gastrointestinal illnesses, abrasions, lacerations, sick children, stings, bites, rashes, and wound infections. There will not be a doctor onsite, but if needed, we can help refer you.
This service is open to everyone, even if you are not one of our regular patients. With your permission, we will send your usual doctor a discharge summary for the care given. After-hours fees will apply. Please contact us on 62951460 to book your appointment or to ask questions about our service.
