Every November, the Movember Foundation is responsible for the growing of moustaches on men’s faces in Australia and around the world.
The aim of moustaches is to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male mental health.
The donations raised in Australia fund programs run directly by the Movember Foundation and men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Beyond Blue.
Funds raised through the Movember Foundation support Beyond Blue programs (agreed on by Beyond Blue and Movember) that focus on reducing stigma associated with depression and anxiety and encouraging men to seek help.
