A Notice to Patients Regarding Dr John Wilkins Retirement

Here at Cygnet Family Practice, our mission is “kind, holistic health care with a community spirit.” We offer person-centred care in a health care team. Our team includes doctors (GPs), nurse practitioners (NPs) and registered nurses (RNs).

Our service cares for your immediate needs, and our comprehensive health checks and care planning looks at keeping you well for your future.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr John Wilkins for his wonderful care for the people in our community and wish him all the best for his retirement.

Over the last week we have welcomed an influx of new patients which we look forward to meeting and helping them cater for their health care needs.

The Cygnet Family Practice team puts patients first and we strive for excellence in all we do.

To be able to continue to stand by our mission and philosophy towards our patients, we regretfully will have to temporarily close our books to new registrations until we can provide the care and appointments you require in a timely manner.

We are actively seeking another GP and NP to join our team so we can offer all our patients, old and new, the care that we believe they need and deserve.

Can we please ask that non urgent patients hold off on their registration until we have the capacity to meet your needs. We are happy for you to register and go on our waiting list and when we have more team members we will then put you on our system.

Our team would like to thank you all for your understanding and patience during this time and we will keep you all updated of any changes.
